They spent $14,000 on 6,000 capes they handed out to the unemployed at A public relations event. The logical readers out there are wondering why in the hell the unemployment agency needs a public relations campaign to begin with.
The agency defended the outreach program, and then admitted they only have about a 25% success rate in placing people in jobs.
