What A Baby Looks Like At The Time Partial-Birth Abortions Are Done … Meet Roben

This is a repost of an old post I did on another site.  I wanted to have a backup here for reference.

In the United States, abortions can be done later in the pregnancy than in virtually any other nation on Earth.  I’m not here to fight the pro-life/pro-choice debate.  I only intend to show you what a baby looks like, and how developed they are, during the time in which a partial-birth abortion is done.

While many states have laws limiting partial-birth abortions, others allow the practice at 30 weeks.  Abortions after 26 weeks are considered ‘late term abortions’ in the medical field.  Roben was born at 26 weeks, and was the size of a baby 23 weeks old.

More pictures inside.

As you can see, Roben is a fully formed baby.  Not a cyst, not a growth, but a fully formed baby.  A baby, who at only 26 weeks, could have legally been aborted … killed … murdered.

We aren’t disputing whether or not a fetus is alive here.  We are talking about babies.  There is no debate that Roben is a baby, and therefore should qualify for all protections afforded to a human baby.

Admittedly, a very tiny baby.

Makes you wonder how the United States can permit the murder of defenseless babies, doesn’t it?

That’s what a late-term abortion is … murder.

This is me with Roben when she was a year old.

There is no more conclusive evidence that late-term abortions should be banned.

Here’s some diagrams of a late-term abortion being performed.

The Guttmacher Institute noted that late-term abortions are rarely performed to save the mother.

The National Coalition of Abortion Providers told the NY Times that:

“In the vast majority of cases, the procedure is performed on a healthy mother with a healthy fetus that is 20 weeks or more along.”
